Wanna know about Gran Partita Horizon?
First it’s built off my desire to have a wrap that is reflective of the sunset. Which it does beautifully! Second the three colors are also the three favorite colors of me and my babywearing besties, who also helped me decide on the final choices of the colorway. Third it’s in my favorite Emmeline Textiles pattern- Partita; but it’s even better as it’s on the grandest scale of Partita (see what I did there?)
When it arrived it was so dry and flat and I was intrigued but worried the colors would be flat as well…then it went through the initial wash process. The heavens opened and my dream of a wrap became reality. The Pima/standard cotton blend of this wrap makes the colors shimmer! Here’s a breakdown of some of my favorite qualities.
Grip/Glide: Moderate amount of grip, lovely amount of glide. Placing this in a double hammock was lovely.
Dryness/Soapiness: It’s on the drier side but in no way harsh to the touch.
Stretch: PERFECTION! No seriously y’all when I first wore it my son was eating so you know me, you know I believe in #WrapYourself, and when I did a double hammock and went to tighten the chest pass…I got giddy. It’s the perfect amount of stretch to lead to moldability. It literally hugs you and your little one. I’ll add a pic of my chest pass and one of the kiddo on my back like it looks like second skin.
Drape: Gorgeous flowing tails from any knot or a Candy cane chest belt
Knots: makes a beautifully fluffy Erin knot and a teeny tiny CCCB!
Honestly it’s lightweight great for hot weather even in a multi pass carry. If you like thin wraps this is definitely one to consider. It will break in quickly and is great for went level wrapper. It’s my unicorn. My perfect wrap. I love it; and I hope whoever gets the one up for sale will love it as well.
